A simple and satisfying pasta dish with a rich tomato sauce, garlic, and fresh basil.
Boil a large pot of salted water and cook pasta according to package directions.
Dice the tomatoes. Mince the garlic.
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat, saute garlic for 1 minute.
Add diced tomatoes, salt, and basil. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Drain pasta and toss with the sauce. Serve with parmesan if desired.
